Dr. Marabin is particularly interested in telepathy, clairvoyance, psychokinesis, the psychosomatic aspects of mediumship, and methods of testing for extrasensory perception. From 1949 to 1957, working with mental and physical mediums in controlled experiments to test the genuineness of their phenomena and to study effects on the body of paranormal behavior, Dr. Marabini found no instances of authentic physical mediumship. Since 1957, he has been studying quantitative methods of testing, and his view that present methods are inadequate to demonstrate the functioning of ESP and psychokinesis is outlined in his article "Una Nuova ESP?" ("A New ESP?") published in the Bulletin of the Italian Society for Parapsychology (Jan.- June, 1959).
